Patient Care Fundamentals
Understanding the role of the nurse aide within the healthcare team; patient rights and dignity; ethical and legal responsibilities; professional communication with patients, families, and supervising nurses.
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Assisting patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, and mobility. You’ll learn proper body mechanics to protect yourself and your patients during transfers and repositioning.
