AVI Career Training in Fairfax County, VA actively supports military service members, veterans, and their families seeking career training through our beauty and wellness programs.
We are an approved institution for VA education benefits, making it easier for veterans to use their earned benefits and build rewarding new careers. Our Financial Aid team will guide you through the eligibility verification and enrollment process from start to finish.
Military Education Benefits
Post-9/11 GI Bill®
Financial assistance for housing and school costs. Available to those who served at least 90 days after September 10, 2001, or who were discharged with a service-related disability after 30 days of service.
DoD Tuition Assistance
Currently serving military personnel may qualify for Department of Defense tuition support to cover education costs while on active duty.
Dependent & Spouse Benefits
Family members of active-duty service members in paygrades E1–E5, O1–O2, or W1–W2 may receive financial aid from the Department of Defense for education and occupational credentials.
Additional Federal Aid
VA education benefits can often be combined with other federal financial aid programs, potentially covering more of your education costs.

Veteran Scheduling Policy
Veteran students must attend all classes on campus for VA benefit purposes. The hybrid/online option is not available for VA-funded enrollment.
A minimum of 22 hours per week is required for full-time VA benefit status. Contact us to confirm your specific schedule requirements.
